The theme for 2011 is: Life Sciences August 8th-19th, 8:30am - noon (Monday - Friday) 2011 Topics include: 3rd grade Creepy Crawlers Come find out about some amazing animals – some fly, some crawl, and some even squirm! We’ll see how they move, where they live and why they are so important to our world. 4th grade Ecosystem Explorers Join us as we explore some of the Earth's different ecosystems and the living things who call them home. Explore the interactions between species and see what it takes to survive. 5th/6th grade Life at the Edge of the Sea Come explore the environment and life at the sea's edge. Explore the abundance and diversity of marine life that thrive in this intense environment. 7th & 8th grade Crime Solving Chemists Each year our middle school scientists become detectives to solve mysteries and bust crimes. In honor of the International Year of Chemistry we’ll be focusing on chemistry to solve our mysteries. Join us again this year as we learn new techniques and solve new crimes.
